When you decide to build or renovate with us, it means a unique journey for you. For us, it’s a recurring activity that we have turned into a process to ensure your satisfaction. Discover how we bring your dream villa to life with our personal approach.

Our step-by-step plan

Step 1: We get to know each other

Newbuild

Your journey to a dream villa starts with meeting each other in person. We would be happy to invite you to our show villa or visit you at home to discuss your wishes and ideas.

Renovation

If you are looking for a villa renovation, we like to arrange to meet on site to assess the project on location. 

Step 2: Meet the architect

Together with a talented architect, we will turn your dream into an initial design. This step ensures that your vision is central to the entire process.

Step 3: We commit to the desired outcome together with the architect

We undertake to work on a result-oriented basis with our architect, to ensure that your vision is fully reflected in the design.

The architect or interior designer draws up a plan based on your needs, taking account of practical considerations, the processes involved and the intended visual outcome.

Step 4: Design phase with optimisation plans

In this phase, the plans are refined and optimised, taking careful account of your wishes and the possibilities of the plot.

Step 5: Discussion of the project with the local authority

We take care of liaising with the local authorities to ensure that all regulations and permits are in order for your construction project.

Step 6: Review of detailed quotation

A transparent and detailed quotation is discussed, so that you have a clear picture of the project’s costs and scope.

Step 7: Design contract between client & Magnus Villas

A design contract is drawn up, including preparatory studies in relation to energy performance, ventilation and stability.

Step 8: Planning permission application

We take care of the application for planning permission, a crucial step before building work can start.

Step 9: Contracting agreement

After approval of the planning application, a contracting agreement is drawn up, signifying that construction work can start.

Our internal design department draws up the plans. It has already examined the practical details with a view to possible improvements, but the project is discussed in detail with the project manager.

Step 10: Start of work

Our project manager coordinates the work and holds regular site meetings to discuss progress and ensure that the work is carried out smoothly.

Step 11: Provisional handover

After the building work has been completed, a provisional handover takes place, during which we inspect the villa together with you to ensure the quality and finish.

Step 12: Enjoy your new home

You can start enjoying your new or renovated villa; we will be available if you have any questions or need support.

Step 13: Final handover

A year after the provisional handover, the final handover takes place, formally wrapping up the project.
